Solstice Day Spa raises $1500 for Independence House
Hyannis, MA, March 1, 2011 —Throughout the month of February, $10 raffle tickets were sold for an opportunity to win numerous spa specialty services donated by the each staff member of Solstice Day Spa with 100% of the raffle sales to benefit Independence House.
At a reception gathering on Monday, February 28th, Sheryl Baba, owner of Solstice Day Spa and the spa staff presented Independence House with a check for $1500. Lysetta Hurge-Putnam, executive director of Independence House spoke at the reception with gratitude explaining how important each dollar is to the vital services that Independence House provides at no charge to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
With the success of this fundraiser, Solstice Day Spa has offered to anniversary this event next year.
