Calling for domestic and sexual assault survivors for submissions of their personal artwork for Independence House’s traveling art exhibit “Courage Unleashed.”
Guidelines for submitting work to be exhibited Independence House is currently collecting art from domestic and sexual violence survivors interested in participating in our Courage Unleashed exhibit. The Courage Unleashed exhibit is meant to illustrate, through survivors’ own words or visual imagery, the scope, and impact of domestic and sexual violence and the process of healing. We are looking for pieces that hang on a wall (for example, we cannot accept free-standing sculptures because of limited storage and potential fragility of objects). Paintings, charcoals, drawings, poetry, collages, and any other media that can be framed are all eligible.
