Together we have the power to end gender-based violence. This workshop is free but prior registration is required.\n\n \nDeirdre ‘deer’ Sullivan:\nHappily serving as a Counselor and Advocate for victims and survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault at the Independence House in the Orleans office. The natural world is my home\, mentor\, and inspiration. Anti-oppression work\, the creative and expressive arts\, mindfulness\, nature connection\, and play are central in my life’s work in building a healthy community with people of all ages.\n\n \nChris Morin\nChris has worked in the field of domestic and sexual violence for 16 years. She has been on staff at Independence House for the past 10 years and is presently the Director of Prevention\, Education\, and Outreach. Her belief is that we are each responsible to each other for the actions in our community and envisions a world where prevention includes raising our children to choose conflict resolution over violence when solving problems.\n\n \nEffective until further notice:\n\nFor the health\, safety\, and well-being of our patrons\, staff\, volunteers\, and creatives\, the Cultural Center of Cape Cod requires that guests attending indoor ticketed events or classes must wear a mask and be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours.\n\n \nFor your convenience\, you may choose to upload your vaccination card in advance here\, or send a photo of the vaccination card or negative COVID test with your full name to vax@cultural-center.org.
